This Privacy Policy explains how RedPill ("the app", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, stores, and protects your information when you use the RedPill mobile application. RedPill is a personal work-earnings tracker that calculates your real-time and unpaid earnings based on your work schedule and the time you spend at your workplace. By downloading or using RedPill, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

a. Account & Authentication Information

Depending on the sign-in method you choose, we collect:

• Google Sign-In: your name, email address, profile picture, and Google account identifier.
• Email & Password: your email address and a password (passwords are handled and stored securely by Firebase Authentication; we never see or store your password in plain text).
• Phone Number & OTP: your phone number and the one-time verification code (OTP) used to confirm it.
• Display name and profile photo that you optionally set within the app.

b. Location Data

RedPill accesses your precise (fine) and approximate (coarse) location, including background location, to detect when you arrive at and leave your designated workplace. This location matching (geofencing) is what allows the app to automatically calculate the time you spend at work and your corresponding earnings. Location is accessed while the app is in use and, with your permission, in the background as a foreground service. RedPill does not continuously record or store a history of your movements — location is used to determine your distance from the single workplace address you configure.

c. Work & Financial Information You Provide

To perform earnings calculations, you enter and we store:

• Your salary or wage amount and preferred currency;
• Your working hours, login/logout times, night-shift setting, and weekend/off days;
• Your workplace (office) address;
• Earnings entries, work sessions, and unpaid-earnings records you generate in the app.

This financial information is used only to calculate and display your own earnings. We do not use it for any other purpose and do not share it for advertising.
